Last Saturday afternoon in Dresden: On a sunlit square, surrounded by many people, two musicians are playing a street concert. After the last note and the applause faded, and the last coins dropped, an elderly woman steps out of the crowd and walks unsteadily towards the musicians. Both of them are still busy with packing their instruments and do not yet take notice of the old lady.
Only when she starts to speak, they both look up. The woman looks at them smiling, while reciting passionately a beautiful poem. Wonderful words describing the beauty of life. What an extraordinary and touching way to say “thank you” for a concert!
Dear lady, we do not know your name, but you touched us deeply with your lovely gesture. Thank you so much! Amy & Ryan
